Why does the little guy always seem to get the short end of the stick? That’s me; I would be \”the little guy.\”
First, my people give me a name that not EVEN a mother could love: SoSueMe. Yeah, I know, makes you want to adopt ME, right?! Like YOU are looking for a lawsuit, right?! Harumph! But, oh no, the name just wasn’t bad enough, I had to be blind, too!
Wait, it gets better. My people decided they did not want me anymore, so they took me to a great big animal shelter. Maybe I am just a pessimist, but this just did not feel like a good thing to me. Hmmm, maybe I chewed one too many pairs of shoes? Ooops, did I say that?
The big animal shelter had too many dogs to keep a 5 year old blind dog. The nice folks here at AWA said they would try to help me, and so I took a ride in a van and ended up here. ANOTHER new place. This was just NOT my day.
At first I acted really scared! (I wasn’t really scared….us tough little terriers never are. Well, okay, maybe just a LITTLE; but don’t tell anybody!) The people here were really nice, and taught me how to find my way in and out my kennel door so I could go outside. They make sure I have a nice soft bed and toys every day.
As nice as everyone is, I think it is finally time for \”the little guy\” to win for once. I want to go home; and I want it to be a home where I can stay forever. This \”little guy’s\” moving days are done!
