Thomas Peyton, 96, formerly of Audubon

PEYTON, THOMAS
On February 1, 2008, Thomas, age 96, a former resident of Audubon, NJ, passed away at the Lutheran Home in Moorestown.
A World War II veteran, Thomas was an operator at the Texaco / Eagle Point Refinery in West Deptford.Mr. Peyton was a longtime parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Haddon Heights where he served on parish council and as an usher and greeter. In addition, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Council No. 1443 in Haddon Township and the Holy Name Society.
Thomas is lovingly survived by his wife, Jeannette (nee Henry); his 6 daughters, Jeannette Brasek, Maria Hanlin, Helene Staron, Theresa Black, Margaret Cranston and Suzanne Turnipseed; 10 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 2 great grandsons, 5 great granddaughters and his brother, Donald C. Peyton.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday morning after 9:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights where His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.
