Redlands, CA – The 25th ranked Lions of The College of New Jersey men’s tennis team posted an important and key victory as they knocked off 10th ranked Bowdoin College on Wednesday night. TCNJ won 5-4 and now stands at 3-1 on the year.
TCNJ’s senior Roger Mosteller (Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee) would record the decisive win at fifth singles to lift TCNJ past Bowdoin.

TCNJ’s men’s tennis team posted one of the program’s most important wins as the Lions knocked off the tenth ranked Polar Bears of Bowdoin College. Roger Mosteller teamed with senior Michael Klimchak (Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) for a win at first doubles and then posted the winning point for the Lions as he was a winner in three sets at fifth singles.
TCNJ’s sophomore Jeremy Eckardt (Belle Mead, NJ/Montgomery) and senior Eric Ferriere (Montague, NJ/Kittatinny) were winners at second doubles, while Eckardt added a win at third singles and rookie Jonathan Yu (Hamilton, NJ/Steintert) added a win at sixth singles to also help the Lions on the day.
