Resolutions were approved by the Governing Body of the Borough of Brooklawn

authorizing the execution of Professional Services Contracts with:

  • Timothy J. Higgins, Esq. was appointed Borough Solicitor for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Michael J. Ward, Esq. was appointed Planning Board Solicitor for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Kei Associates was appointed as Borough Engineer for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Bowman & Company was appointed as Auditors for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Michael C. Avalone, Commerce National Insurance/ConnorStrong, was appointed Insurance Agent for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Lawrence L. Hubert, Esq. was appointed Borough Public Defender for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Howard C. Long, Jr., Esq. was appointed Borough Prosecutor for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Matter Brothers Electrical Contracting was appointed Borough Electrician for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

  • Rich Borgesi was appointed Borough Plumber for the Borough of Brooklawn for a period of one year at the current rate of compensation for such service.

Resolution #13-10, #14-10, #15-10, #16-10, #18-10, #19-10, #20-10, #51-10 and #52-10 were approved January 4, 2010 and contracts are available for public inspection in the office of the Borough Clerk, 301 Christiana Street, Borough Hall, Brooklawn, NJ 08030 during regular business hours.
