Albertina Dickson, of Gloucester City

ALBERTINA S. \”TINA\” DICKSON

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Gloucester City, for Albertina S. \”Tina,\” Dickson, 93, of Gloucester City, who died March 7, 2010.

Mrs. Dickson was a lifelong and devoted parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Gloucester. She was a member of the Gloucester City Senior Citizens, the Ladies Auxiliary of Gloucester City Senior Citizens, the Ladies Auxiliary of Gloucester City American Legion Post #135 and a frequent visitor with her husband to the Townsend C. Young VFW Post. Tina was also well known for her cooking at Jim’s Pizzeria where she worked for over 20 years.

Beloved wife of the late James L. Dickson, loving mother of Mary Lou McWilliams (Frank) of AZ, Margaret Viveiros (Daniel) of Gloucester City, Kathleen Benoit (Raymond) of Williamsotwn, the late James Dickson (Carol) of Glassboro and cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Fred Viereck (June) of Cherry Hill and was predeceased by her dear brothers and sisters John Lang, Samuel, Matthew, Joseph, Thomas, William and Richard Viereck, May Pinto, Anna Pine and Eleanor Klepka. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held at Etherington-Creran Funeral Home, 700 Powell Street, Gloucester City. Interment was in New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
