Brooklawn beats Spring City 9-3 in Legion baseball national regionals (video)

WEST LAWN-Brooklawn faced Spring City in the second game of the day at the American Legion Mid-Atlantic Regional in West Lawn.

The Red Sox scored in the third on an RBI single by Ken Pierson and again in the fourth on a single by Tom Grablewski and a triple by Pat Medley for a 2-1 lead. But Brooklawn pitcher Cody Brown\’s three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth gave the New Jersey champions the lead. Brooklawn\’s George Spingler batting .417 this season had a nice triple.
