The Brooklawn Clergy will join the Brooklawn American Legion Post #72 and citizens of the local communities in commemorating Patriot Day on September 11, 2010, by bell ringing followed by a minute of silence during the times of each of the four separate terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
The bells will ring at approximately 8:45 a.m., 9:03 a.m. and 10 a.m. Each ring commemorates the crash of American Airlines Flight 11 into the north tower of the World Trade Center, United Airlines Flight 175 into the south tower of the World Trade Center, American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into the field about 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
