CORNELIA \”SIS\” VERFAILLIE

Funeral Services were held for Cornelia \”Sis\” Verfaillie, a 70 year resident of Gloucester City, age 85, who died September 22, 2010.

Beloved wife of the late John H. Verfaillie and loving mother of John C. Verfaillie (Joanne). She is the proud grandmother of Jill Adomat and great grandmother Max and Alex Adomat. Dear sister of Mary Barrett (James) and the late Marshall Yearicks (Eleanor) and Ethel Cline (Jack).

Friends met the Etherington-Creran Funeral Home, 700 Powell Street, Gloucester City. Interment was in Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford.

RUTH E. GUZA-HERRMANN

Memorial Services were held for Ruth E. Guza-Herrmann, 80, of Williamstown, who died September 21, 2010. 

Born in Philadelphia, she grew up in Gloucester City and lived many years in Williamstown and Vineland.

Mrs. Herrmann was a bookkeeper for the Monroe Country Inn before retiring. She was formerly involved in local politics, was a member of the Monroe Township Republican Club and ran for Township Clerk in 1968.

Beloved wife of the late Royal Herrmann. Devoted mother of Thomas Guza, Karen Juliano (Albert), Karl Herrmann (Gina) and Sharon Albright (Wayne). Dear sister of Grace Rittmeyer, Ethel Kimley and Joan Schoelkopf. Loving grandmother of Kristina Bouchard, Jennifer Juliano, Karl Herrmann, Jr., Jaime Juliano, Gianna Herrmann and Zackery Herrmann. Loving great-grandmother of Jaiden Taylor Smith. She was pre-deceased by 3 sisters.
