BROOKLAWN NJ-THE Commencement exercise for the Alice Costello School Class of 2011 was held on Monday evening, June 13, 2011 at the Alice Costello School. Graduation diplomas were presented to 38 students. This year the students chose the theme \”The Time of Our Lives\” for the commencement exercises.

 

Highlighting the evening was the presentation of awards to outstanding graduates. The \"Sportzcentral Post #72 American Legion Scholarship Awards were presented to JUSTIN REICHERT and MIRANDA LABBREE. JUSTIN and MIRANDA also received the PTA Outstanding Scholarship Awards. The PTA Anna Pantella Most Improved Student award was presented to ALEXANDRA WENNER. MAKENZI COOPER received the Elizabeth Voll award. The Matthew Kuhn Science award was presented to LAURA DICKERMAN. KYLEE HIRST was the recipient of the George Gallimore Award and JOSEF WEICHMANN received the Carmen Palmiero Award. The Brooklawn Education Association Courtesy Award was presented to STEVEN COWGILL. MIRANDA LABBREE  received awards for highest academic averages in English, Social Studies, Science and Reading. MAKENZI COOPER received an award for the highest academic average in Math. The Dan Stelluto award was presented to (tie) JOSHUA IGNACZEWSKI and DEVIN CHAMPAGNE. The Maryann Grant award was presented to BRITTANY PETE. The Brooklawn Emergency Management services award was presented to SHANE KENNEY.
