On August 30, 2012. Age 59. Of Willamstown. Formerly of Florida. Cherished daughter of the late Robert L. and Edythe Coleman (nee Cinquino). Loving cousin of Crystal Sliker and also survived by her dear friends from Target: Eleanor Yue, Laurie Hummel, Virginia Tucker and Marianne Rafter. 

Born in Schenectady, NY, Cynthia was employed at Donnelly Directory in NY and Florida. For the last three years she worked as a retail processor at Target where she had many devoted and caring friends. Other special people in her life included Eric Steiner, The Ricci\’s, Shawn Roberts, and Debbie Deiter. She loved to travel and did so extensively. She loved sports, watching old movies, The Olympics, British Royalty, and In-line dancing. She had a zest for life, and a caring heart. She will truly be missed.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 2, 2012 – In light of a recent rise in insider attacks against coalition forces, U.S. Forces Afghanistan officials have suspended the training of about 1,000 Afghan Local Police recruits, pending re-vetting of current participants in the program.

Officials emphasized that partnered operations with Afghan forces will continue, and that NATO training for the Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police are not affected by the suspension of training for the local police program, in which U.S. forces train recruits, in cooperation with Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry and provincial police chiefs, to provide security in remote communities.

James M. 

On September 2, 2012. Age 60. Of Woodbury. Formerly of Westville. Survived by his sons, Vincent and Jonathan McHenry and his sisters, Nancy Glocker (Gary), Mary Ann Knecht (Joe) and Patricia Elison (Chuck). 

James proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 133 in Woodbury. He was currently employed at the Gloucester County Justice Complex in Woodbury. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and again on Friday morning from 8:15 to 9:15 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City.
