Obituary: Carol R. McKernan, of Runnemede

Preceded in death by her loving parents, Elsa and John Atson. Devoted and loving mother of Cathy Pagano (Chalie) and Jackie Hoffer. Beloved Gram of April Krause (Tim), Nick Pagano (Stephenie), and Sheri Pagano and great gram of Erica Moore, Nicholas Pagano, Ryan Pagano, Keira Krause, Brett Krause, and the late Cayla Pagano. Dear sister of Elsa Atson and Ross Malino. 

Carol had many wonderful friends and was loved by all. She retired from Pathmark in 2000 having never missed work because of her devotion to being a mother and father to her daughters. She was a member of Local 56 Women’s Network and of Runnemede Seniors. 

There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Friday eve and from 8:15 to 9:15am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. 

Funeral Mass 10am Saturday at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa’s RC Church, Runnemede. 

Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
