CAMDEN COUNTY COP FIRED FOR PEEING IN JAIL/DWI—Last year the Camden County Police Department notified the Camden County Prosecutor that it had fired Police Officer Travis Gerard Hoban, 23 on February 17, 2014 because of an incident in Evesham Township. Hoban was arrested by Evesham Police on September 19, 2013 for a DWI (Driving While Impaired) and criminal mischief.
John Paff, Chairman of the NJ Libertarian Party’s Open Government Advocacy Project discovered the episode as a result of an OPRA (Open Public Records Act) request that he filed with Evesham Township (Burlington County). The first report he received from Evesham had the officer’s name redacted from it.
