The reasons why he did it varied—he carried a grudge against his employer, he was frustrated with the U.S. government, he needed money, and he desired power and respect. But motivations aside, Pedro Leonardo Mascheroni, a scientist formerly employed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, broke the law when he sold some of our nation’s nuclear secrets to an individual he thought was a foreign government official. He also involved his wife—a Los Alamos employee at the time—in his illegal activities.

DOVER (Feb. 6, 2015) – The sound of frogs calling in the night is more than just a sign of spring’s arrival. This familiar sound is also a call to volunteers across the state to participate in the Division of Fish & Wildlife’s Delaware Amphibian Monitoring Program (DAMP).

The Division will hold an orientation meeting for volunteers from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Aquatic Resources Education Center, located at 4876 Hay Point Landing Road/Route 9 east of Smyrna.

Rainier was arrested after she was seen walking a dog outside the Royal Inn in Glassboro and entering a room at the Delsea Drive motel. The arrest was without incident. She is being held in jail without bail.

Rainier was charged with stabbing a male in the chest on 9/12/13 at a Franklin Township residence. The defendant was a friend of the injured man’s sister-in-law, in whose home he was staying.

DOVER (Feb. 6, 2015) – To achieve public compliance through education and enforcement actions that help conserve Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Enforcement Natural Resources Police officers between Jan. 26-Feb. 1 made 1,084 contacts with anglers, hunters, boaters and the general public, including 10 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks. Agents responded to 31 complaints and issued 23 citations. This week, with an expanded Fish & Wildlife Enforcement presence continuing to be deployed as a deterrent, no citations were issued at the C&D Canal Conservation Area and associated recreational trail.

TOILET TRIKES AS PROTEST: Tom Suica, retired plumber and former Monaca council member, has translated his handiness into innovative objections. These toilet tricycles are in response to a borough decision last fall to eliminate residential parking in front of his house.
