After further investigation, Todd Zane (photo left), age 36, a resident of the 700 block of Division Street, was charged with two counts of robbery and remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post bail. No weapon was recovered at this time.
In another matter, Gloucester City Police arrested a suspect for the alleged burglary of a Market Street residence.
According to police, on March 5, a resident of the 300 block of Market Street reported sometime during the day, unknown person(s) burglarized his residence and an x-box, video games and a watch were stolen. Video surveillance footage from a nearby residence was obtained by detectives showing a suspect leaving the residence. The suspect was identified and later located.
After questioning, the suspect admitted to the burglary and theft and the stolen property was recovered. Jay T. Clayton (photo right), age 29, a resident of Elmwood Avenue, was charged with Burglary and Theft.
The suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
