Gloucester City Police Arrest 2 Suspects, 1 for Armed Robbery the other for Market St. Burglary

\"11046768_813090705427830_2344479177460367424_n\"GLOUCESTER CITY NJ March 9, 2015 (CNBNews.net)–On March 8, 2015 at 1:26 pm officers responded to the 700 block of Division Street for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, two victims were located, a male and a female. Both victims reported they were driving and picked up the suspect, an aquaintence of the male victim, and gave the suspect a ride to his residence. As they arrived at the suspects residence, the suspect, who as sitting in the back seat, allegedly stuck an unknown object against the male victim\’s side, unknown if it was a weapon, and robbed him of his cash. He then stole a purse belonging to the female victim and fled on foot. The suspect was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident.

After further investigation, Todd Zane (photo left), age 36, a resident of the 700 block of Division Street, was charged with two counts of robbery and remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post bail. No weapon was recovered at this time.

 

In another matter, Gloucester City Police arrested a suspect for the alleged burglary of a Market Street residence.

The suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
