Judge Increases Bail to $750K for Glassboro Resident Charged with Assault-Attempted Murder

WOODBURY NJ June 19, 2015–After hearing from an assistant Gloucester County prosecutor that a Glassboro woman may not survive the beating she suffered on 6/13/15, allegedly by her husband, a Superior Court judge today (6/19) raised bail for Byron Jenkins (DOB 7/30/69) from $500,000 to $750,000 on an aggravated assault and a subsequent attempted murder charge.

The victim is on life support, is in a coma and has had a portion of her skull removed, said Assistant Gloucester County Prosecutor Dana Anton.
