Barbara Myers, on July 3, 2015, of Haddon Heights, formerly of Camden. Age 78. Beloved wife of the late Thomas, Sr. Devoted mother of Thomas, Jr., Denise, Joseph, Jane Gallo, Michael, Paul, Joshua, and Isaac. Loving grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Ernest, Laura, Carol, Merle, John, Karen, and the late Madeline, Lily, Herbert, and Jane. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara always enjoyed going to the casinos with her sisters. There will be a viewing from 2:30 to 4:30pm Tuesday afternoon at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 4:30pm at the funeral home. Interment private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Barbara’s family. EPA Extends Public Comment Period on Sherwin-Williams Cleanup Plan for Residential Properties

(New York, N.Y. – July 1, 2015) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has extended the public comment period for its proposed cleanup plan to address contaminated soil on residential properties at the Sherwin-Williams/Hilliards Creek Superfund site in Gibbsboro and Voorhees, N.J to August 1, 2015. The original public comment period for the cleanup plan was scheduled to end July 2, but the EPA is extending the comment period in response to a request from the public.

Four Players Selected to Represent Riversharks at All-Star Game

Camden, NJ – Four Riversharks players have been selected to represent the club in the 2015 All-Star Game to be held July 8th in Bridgeport Connecticut, home of the Blue Fish.
 

The four selected to make the trip are third baseman Joel Guzman, shortstop Brandon Chaves, pitcher Dan Blewett, and pitcher Rob Bryson.
