GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (CNBNEWSNET)–Gloucester City Police on Thursday, August 27 at 8:45 PM arrested two South Burlington Street residents on marijuana charges and other related crimes. One of the suspects, Amanda Mayer, stated that police could not arrest her husband, Sherman Green, age 38, because he is the \”king\” and \”God.\” And she is the \”queen.\”
From the police report:
On 08/27 at 2045 an officer observed a male sitting in his vehicle on the unit block of S. Burlington Street playing music at an extremely loud level. The officer approached and observed the male smoking marijuana inside of the vehicle. He was removed and placed under arrest. As officers were placing the male under arrest, the suspect’s wife exited the residence and told officers that what they were doing was wrong because he is the \”king\” and \”God.\” She further stated that she was the \”queen.\”
