Holmdel Township, N.J. – The New Jersey State Police have arrested and charged Quran Powell, 27, of Holmdel, N.J., for shooting two men in the parking lot of the PNC Bank Arts Center after a concert.
On Monday, August 3, at 11:14 p.m., troopers responded to a shooting in parking lot 4 of the PNC Arts Center. The two male victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were subsequently flown to a local hospital for treatment. Both individuals were last listed in critical but stable condition.
Through various investigative means, detectives from the New Jersey State Police Troop \”D\” Criminal Investigations Office, Major Crimes Unit, and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office were able to identify Quran Powell as the suspect. On Wednesday, August 5, State Police and Monmouth County detectives, along with the New Jersey State Police T.E.A.M.S Unit, executed a search warrant for Powell\’s home.
