PHILADELPHIA — The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary announced the winners of its inaugural photo contest at Pennsylvania Coast Day Saturday in Philadelphia.
About 70 photographers submitted almost 200 pictures to the Every Stream Matters Photo Contest. Staffers then sorted these into four categories. These include Splash of Fun, Urban Waters, Wild and Scenic, and Schuylkill Shots, the latter of which was limited to Pennsylvania’s Schuylkill River Valley.
Andre Cole won the Urban Waters category with his photo from Tall Ships Philadelphia Camden. Sandi Bisgood of Lewes, Delaware won the Wild and Scenic category with her photo from Broadkill Beach. And Elizabeth Wilson of Malvern, Pennsylvania won both the Schuylkill Shots and Splash of Fun categories. She snapped her winners in Valley Forge National Historical Park and Kleinfeltersville, Pennsylvania, respectively.
Each winner will receive $250 per first-place photo. Second- and third-place winners will receive $100 and $50, respectively.
