Donald Charles Brown, 85, of West Deptford, NJ passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026.
Donald was born to Elizabeth and John Brown on November 18, 1940, and raised in Haddonfield, NJ.
After High School graduation, Donald served in the United States Army, received his B.A from Rutgers University, an M.A. from Rowan University, and a J.D. from The Widener School of Law. Donald led a distinguished career as an attorney and Assistant Prosecutor for Gloucester County, NJ.
In addition to being an avid Philadelphia sports fan, Donald donated a significant amount of his time doing pro bono work, and had a love for teaching high school through the University level. Donald loved a good debate, and his humorously dry sense of humor was the center of many family gatherings.
Donald is survived by his twin sister, Nancy Kenderdine, a brother, Paul Brown and was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Lattanzi. He is also survived by his nieces, Suzanne Kraemer and Laurel McElroy, a nephew, Craig Kenderdine, several great nieces & nephews and a dear friend, Jason Gilland and his family.
A celebration honoring Donald will be held at a later date.
