
Marguerite V. Danaher (née Berry), of Gloucester City, passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 98, in her home cared for and loved by her children.
Born on July 22, 1927, in Gloucester City, Marguerite was a lifelong resident of the community she loved. She was the devoted daughter of the late John Berry and Cecilia Berry (nee Matthews). Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Danaher, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. A woman of deep faith, Marguerite was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Gloucester City.
Marguerite is survived by her loving children: Marguerite McMichael (Don), Thomas M. Danaher (Judi), Bridget Rosolia (John) and Patrick Danaher (Sue). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Sean, Colin, Carly (David), Chloe, Kylie, Gabrielle (Dennis), Breandan, Olivia, Aedan and Kaelin. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Marguerite will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her faith, enduring kindness to all who knew her.
At Marguerite’s request, viewing, Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s R.C. Church and Interment at New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr were private.
