Homicide Investigation

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred July 2, 2026 in the 12th District.

Approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 6300 block of Dicks Avenue, where they located a 31-year-old male suffering from a single stab wound to his left arm. The victim was transported by  officers to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased at 8:09 p.m.

The crime scene was secured for processing; however, no weapons have been recovered at this time, and no arrests have been made.

As with all Philadelphia homicide investigations, there is a $20,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
