On Tuesday, July 28, at 6:00 p.m., Congressman Ro Khanna will deliver an address marking America’s 250th anniversary and outlining the policies that will shape the country’s future. Born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, during the nation’s Bicentennial, Rep. Khanna will return to his home state to share his vision for America’s next 250 years.
In his address, Rep. Khanna will outline a bold vision to renew the American Dream and build an economy that works for everyone. He will unveil a New Economic Patriotism agenda that includes an industrial development bank, 1,000 new trade schools, $10-a-day child care, Medicare for All, and other proposals to lower costs, create good-paying jobs, and improve the lives of working Americans.
The address is part of Rep. Khanna’s New Economic Patriotism Tour from July 28th-August 1st across Pennsylvania, where he will meet with workers, union leaders, and candidates to discuss the challenges Americans are facing today: rising health care costs, the hollowing out of factory towns, the housing affordability crisis, and the need to create good-paying jobs in every community.
