The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on July 19 in the city’s 39th District.
At approximately 4:46 p.m., police responded to a call on the 4200 block of N. Hicks Street, where they located an adult female victim suffering from stab wounds. Officers quickly transported the victim to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
The crime scene is currently being held by police as the investigation continues.
At this time, a motive for the stabbing remains unknown. The investigation is being actively led by the Northwest Detectives division.
