
On September 21, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m., police responded to the 8200 block of Williams Avenue for a report of a fire at the rear door. Engine 9 and a Fire Marshal responded to the scene. The offender is described as a Black female in her 30s with a medium build, wearing a black baseball cap, white face covering, red shirt and blue pants. The offender appeared to have ignited a can before fleeing the location. The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
On September 26, 2026, police responded to the 8200 block of Williams Avenue and spoke with a resident regarding a fire that occurred the previous evening, September 25, at approximately 10:30 p.m. The resident reported witnessing a Black female, approximately in her 20s or 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium-brown complexion and medium build. She was described as wearing glasses, her hair in a bun, a black cap, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants. According to the resident, the offender threw a bottle that had been set on fire at a parking bollard in the rear driveway, causing a fire. Engine 73 responded and extinguished the fire. The offender was last seen fleeing westbound on Mount Airy Avenue.
No injuries were reported in either incident. All information is preliminary and subject to change.
