Jefferson Health recently recognized five caregivers at its Cherry Hill, Stratford, and Washington Township hospitals with DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses and BEE (Being Extraordinary Everyday) Award honors for their compassionate care and commitment to patients and families.

Their nominations highlighted attentive care, respect for patient preferences, and thoughtful gestures that brought comfort and reassurance.

DAISY Awards honor nurses for clinical excellence and extraordinary, compassionate care. Honorees include:

· Justin Hewitt, a nurse at Jefferson Stratford Hospital, helped a patient feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their recovery. Justin’s nomination recognized his attentive nursing care, personal encouragement, and reassuring presence, which the patient credited with making their hospital stay easier.
