Welcome Back From Afghanistan Sgt. James Charles Davis, of Gloucester City

Please come out to welcome home Sgt. James Charles Davis, 29 yrs old, from serving in Afghanistan. James was raised in Gloucester City, NJ and graduated from Gloucester City High School. When he was 19 he joined the Navy and was stationed on the Theodore Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier in Norfolk Va. He spent 8 years in the Navy, where he starting out working on the Catapults and on the carrier deck. He served 2 tours in Iraq and finished up his Navy career working in the Jag office.

James then decided to leave the Navy to spend more time with his family. After about a year he had the calling again and joined the Army. He was originally stationed in El Paso, TX, but transferred to Ft. Carson, CO. Shortly after, he was sent to Afghanistan where he spent the next 10 months fighting for his country. He has received numerous honors and medals.\"Glou__Transmission

James has 2 little boys, James Charles Jr. and Wyatt Allen.
