Gloucester City Council Remembers Baseball Coach Bob Barth

A Resolution of Condolence expressing deepest sympathy to the family of Robert \”Bob\” Barth was presented during the July 22 Gloucester City Council meeting.

Former Gloucester City High baseball manager and Gloucester Catholic baseball coach, Barth, 59, died tragically in a car accident last month.

He was the founder of the summer baseball camp in Gloucester City and coached at many local schools over the years.

Mayor William James also presented proclamations to the Gloucester Catholic High School Boys Baseball Team for winning the NSJIAA State Championship. Bob Barth was an assistant coach for the team.

A proclamation was also given to the Gloucester Catholic High School Girls Softball
