Obituary: Edna F. Van Gemert , age 92, of Gloucester City | cnbnews.net

 

On September 19, 2012, (nee Boulware), a resident of Gloucester City, NJ since 1950. Age 92 yrs. Edna was the beloved wife of the late Peter \”Carl\” Van Gemert, loving mother of Elise Foster (Mark) of Gloucester, Beverly Bauers (Lou Randolph) of Woodbury Heights, Hendrik (Rick) Van Gemert (Wendy) of Mullica Hill, and the late Joan Donovan and the late Carl Van Gemert. Cherished grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 15.

Edna was a long time Certified Nurses Assistant at St. Mary\’s Nursing Home in Cherry Hill, and was a former member of Cloud Chapter OES in Gloucester. She loved traveling, gardening, doing crossword puzzles and reading.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 10:00 to 11:00am at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Funeral services will be held 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow Locustwood, Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. There will be no evening viewing. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in Edna\’s name be made to either the Abilities Center of Southern NJ, 1208 Delsea Drive, Westville, NJ 08093; American Cancer Society , 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034; or the American Diabetes Association , 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Lower Merion, PA 19004 www.etheringtonfh.com
