In December of 2001, Dave Jensen, GCHS Class of \’81, became seriously ill due to a virus that attacked his body and ultimately reached his heart. He was diagnosed with Cardio-Myopathy / Congestive Heart Failure and was referred to Temple University Medical Center. Dave was admitted to the Heart Transplant program at Temple and lived on the cardiac floor for six months waiting for a heart!
