Edward Pirrotta Succumbs, Gloucester Catholic Alumnus Class of \’63 | cnbnews.net

Edward Pirrotta, of Spicer, Minnesota, passed away today, April 3, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. A former resident of Gloucester City, NJ, and South Camden, Ed graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School, Class of 1963.

Mr. Pirrotta was a veteran of the Vietnam War era. Ed, a retired teacher, attended college in Minnesota. His battle with cancer began in 2008. Following treatment that year at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, he paid a visit to his family living in South Jersey. During that visit, several of his classmates met him and his brother Lou at a nearby restaurant for breakfast.
