Bicycle/Pedestrian bridge in Wilmington State Parks’ Brandywine Park Open

 

WILMINGTON (Sept. 17, 2014) – Almost two months to the day, the \”swinging bridge,\” part of the bicycle and pedestrian trail network in Wilmington State Parks’ Brandywine Park, has re-opened, following extensive renovations and upgrades. The bridge, which traverses Brandywine Creek, connects the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail and South Park Drive in Wilmington, and is a main artery for commuters who use the trail to walk and bicycle to and from various destinations.
