Letter to Editor: Update on Request for No Train Horn Quiet Zone in Gloucester City

So later that day we received a call from Lou Frangella, the Region 1 Inspector for the FRA, we discussed what we have done up until this point. He stated that since we are not connected to Gloucester City in any official manner, we would need to have a city official contact him. We informed him that would not be an issue at all since we have already previously spoken with the Mayor’s office and we were given their full support on this matter.

After speaking with Inspector Lou Frangella of the FRA, Lou did mention that he would be out of the office until 9/24 so we may encounter a delay. We contacted Bob Bevan, who is our contact for the Mayor’s office who we have spoken with before. We relayed the Inspectors contact information to Mr. Bevan and let him know that he or someone from the Mayor’s office would have to contact the Inspector. We requested from Mr. Bevan that he keep us informed on his conversation and updated as to what may be the next steps.

If we don’t hear back for Mr. Bevan by the end of next week 9/26 I will contact him as to what the status is on this matter.

Regards,
