GLOUCESTER CITY NJ–Gloucester City Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred on Monday, October 13, at 8:13 pm at the CVS Pharmacy, 430 South Broadway.
The following notice was posted on the GCPD social networks earlier today.
Officers responded to CVS on S. Broadway for a reported carjacking. Upon arrival it was determined that a resident had pulled into the parking lot and after exiting his vehicle, was approached by a 30 – 40 year old male. The male was described as white with a medium complexion, thin mustache, approximately 5\’8\”, 155 lbs. wearing a dark blue hoodie and dark blue or black jeans.
The male ordered the resident to give him his keys and then grabbed the keys out of his hand. The male then drove off with the residents vehicle exiting onto Broadway. A description of the vehicle was broadcast and Westville Police spotted the fleeing vehicle entering I-295 North moments later, where it was last seen.
