GIBBSTOWN NJ (January 2, 2015)A 63-year-old man working for a sandblasting contractor at
the Paulsboro Refinery in Gibbstown NJ died when an air compressor line broke and struck him in the head about 9:30 a.m. today (1/2).
Gary Grimming was an employee of G.C. Zarnas & Co., of Bethlehem PA, which was sandblasting a tank at the refinery. His death was instantaneous.
Investigators from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, the county Medical Examiner’s Office and the U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration responded.
