Although online trading communities such as forums, chatrooms and other popular sites provide convenient methods for trading, bartering and selling goods with well-intentioned individuals, many unsuspecting buyers and sellers find themselves victims of violent crime.
In joining police departments across the country, the Pine Hill Police Department strongly encourages you to use our place as a safe zone and tell them, \”Meet me at 48 W. 6th Ave.\” In addition, the following common sense tips should be followed;
- Trust your instincts.
- Don\’t go alone.
- Insist to meet at a public place such as the Pine Hill Police Administration Building.
