MALE COMMITS STRONG ARM ROBBERY AT SHOPRITE
BROOKLAWN NJ–On 01-27-2015 at approximately 3:08 PM, Ptl. Mason was dispatched to Brown\’s Shop Rite for a report of a male that was fighting with the loss prevention officer as he was attempting to leave the store with merchandise which he did not pay for.
Upon Ptl. Mason\’s arrival at the store the loss prevention officer already had the suspect in custody. It was found that he attempted to walk out of the store with two electric razors without paying for same. As the loss prevention officer attempted to stop the suspect at the door a scuffle ensued and he was taken into custody a short time later.
The suspect was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and bail was set at $10,000.00. After failing to post bail, he was lodged at the Camden County Correctional Facility.
