GLOUCESTER CITY NJ--Gloucester City Police on March 25 responded to a business in the 100 block of N. King Street for a burglar alarm activation. Upon arrival, the officers found a rear door open and a window broken. A search of the business located the suspect hiding in a bathroom. David E. Johnson (56), a resident of Camden, was arrested and charged with burglary and criminal mischief. He was later remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post bail.

Officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of Ridgeway Street for a domestic dispute. No arrests were reported.

Officers responded to Broadway at Mercer Street for a motor vehicle crash involving one vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a building. As a result, Lester H. Ugarte (40), a resident of the 900 block of George Street, was arrested and charged with D.W.I., refusal to take a breath test, careless driving and failure to show proof of insurance. No injuries were reported.
