CNB CRIME: Two Men Indicted in Kidnapping and Murder of Camden Woman

CAMDEN CITY NJ –Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported the indictment of two men charged in connection with the kidnapping and killing of a Camden woman.

A Grand Jury handed down a five-count indictment Wednesday, charging Carlos Alicea-Antonetti, M/37, and Ramon A. Ortiz, M/58, both of Camden, with Murder, Kidnapping, Robbery, and two counts of Felony Murder in the death of 41-year-old Fatima Perez.

It is alleged Alicea-Antonetti, an acquaintance of the victim, picked up Perez in his van on May 12, 2014, near her home on the 400 block of N. 41st Street in order to assist her with the purchase of a car. According to her family, Perez carried $8,000 in cash for the purchase.
