CNB CRIME: Camden County Foot Patrol Officer Saves Man\’s Life with Injection of Narcan

 

 Camden City, NJ May 1, 2015 (CNBNews.net) – A Camden County Police Department officer on foot patrol saved the life of an unconscious man experiencing a drug overdose Thursday afternoon.

 Just before 2:20 p.m. Thursday, Officer Stephen Bezich was on foot patrol addressing quality of life issues in the area of Broadway and Martin Luther King Boulevard when he was alerted to a man who was lying face-down on the sidewalk unresponsive and struggling to breathe. Officer Bezich immediately called for EMS response and then administered Narcan to the victim. The man began to regain consciousness before being taken to Cooper University Hospital.
