Necessary safety work will require road closure and detour
(Trenton) – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced a railroad crossing rehabilitation project that will require the closure and detour of Williamstown Road in Franklin, Gloucester County.
Williamstown Road is scheduled to be closed to traffic in both directions at the Conrail freight railroad grade crossing near the intersection of Grays Ferry Road from 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 17.
- Traffic will be detoured using Route 47 (Delsea Drive) and Station Avenue.
The traffic detour will be coordinated with the local police. If work is completed earlier, the roadway will be reopened accordingly.
