CNB MEDICAL NEWS: Kennedy Health Seeks Participants for National Cancer Institute Clinical Trial

Washington Township, NJ – The Kennedy Cancer Center is seeking participants for a first-of-its-kind, tumor-targeted National Cancer Institute (NCI) clinical trial called Molecular Analysis for Therapy Choice, or NCI-MATCH. This type of precision medicine focuses on treating patients based on the genetic characteristics of their individual tumor.

As the largest precision medicine trial for cancer to date, NCI-MATCH seeks to determine whether matching certain drugs, or drug combinations, to people whose tumors have specific gene abnormalities will effectively treat their disease, regardless of cancer type. For more information about participation in this clinical trial, please call Karen SwensonRN, OCN, at the Kennedy Cancer Center: 856/218-5790
