
Lois S. Noyes (nee Sharp) 92, of Haddon Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years, Sydney W. Noyes. Beloved mother of Nancy Celebre (Bob) of Haddon Twp. and Jeffrey Noyes (Deborah) of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Loving grandmother to Rebecca and Grace Celebre and Hannah Noyes (Maddie), proud great-grandmother to Shea Niziak-Noyes. She is survived by a sister, Betty(Sharp)Pierce and many cherished, nieces and nephews, as well as several dear friends.
A native of Rhode Island, Lois proudly worked many years for the Amica Insurance Company. After settling permanently in New Jersey, she was active in the Strawbridge School PTA, Bluebird Community Association, and various high school committees. But where she really shined was in her wholehearted commitment to the Collingswood Presbyterian Church. She was an active member on various committees and groups too numerous to mention. She also volunteered at the Haddon Heights Presbytery Office and taught both of her children in Sunday school as they were growing up. She leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship to all who knew her.
She also worked for over 16 years in the family’s business, the Potted Plant Inc., as a skilled bookkeeper.
Lois enjoyed many hobbies, including an avid love of reading and a passion for watching her favorite teams, the Flyers, Phillies and Eagles. The games gave her much joy, especially in her later years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the First Presbyterian Church, 28 7th Ave., Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Coffee hour to follow. The service will be live-streamed on the Presbyterian Church of Haddon Heights Facebook page.
