Three Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse Material in February 2026

Three Camden County residents were arrested last month for crimes related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.

Investigations conducted by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit, including task force officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Cherry Hill Police Department, Haddon Township Police Department, and Pennsauken Police Department, led to the following defendants being arrested in February 2026:

• Kyle R. Edelstein, 38 of Pennsauken 

• Charles J. Buran, 20, of Cherry Hill

• Davin A. Kahoun, 23, of Gloucester Township 

Kyle R. Edelstein was charged on February 1, 2026, with 2nd-degree Possession of CSAM.  He was previously charged with two counts each of 3rd-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 4th-degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, and Lewdness (a disorderly persons offense). On January 21, 2026, the Haddon Township Police Department responded to a report of a male suspect committing a lewd act in public while in the presence of juvenile females. During the investigation, detectives ultimately identified the male suspect as Edelstein. He was arrested in Haddon Township on January 27, 2026, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. Detectives located various electronic devices belonging to Edelstein, and subsequent forensic examination of multiple devices revealed more than 1,000 images and/or videos of CSAM.

Charles J. Buran was charged on February 4, 2026, with 2nd-degree Distribution of CSAM, 2nd-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute CSAM, and 3rd-degree Possession of CSAM. A cyber tip led detectives to an online account used to possess and distribute CSAM. During the investigation, detectives identified Buran as the user of the account. Additionally, a forensic search of Buran’s cellphone revealed CSAM. Buran was arrested in Cherry Hill on February 4, 2026, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. 

Davin A. Kahoun was charged on February 24, 2026, with 2nd-degree Distribution of CSAM, 2nd-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute CSAM, and 3rd-degree Possession of CSAM. A cyber tip led detectives to an online account used to possess and distribute CSAM. Investigators ultimately identified Kahoun as the user of the account. Kahoun was arrested on February 24, 2026, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. 

All individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
