
Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of March 9 to March 13.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Berlin Township
South Jersey Gas will be working on Hopewell Road & Cooper Road from Monday, March 9 to Wednesday, March 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, there will be a full road closure of Hopewell Road between Cooper Road & Jackson Road in Waterford. Tuesday, there will be a full road closure of Cooper Road between Industrial Drive & Chestnut Avenue in Berlin Township. Wednesday, there will be a full road closure of Cooper Road between Taunton Road & Hopewell Road in Berlin Township.
Camden
· Crews will be working on Market Street on Monday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a lane shift between North 5th Street & North 6th Street.
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, March 9, to Thursday, March 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a lane shift between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard & Cooper Plaza.
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, March 9, to Friday, March 13 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Newton Avenue & Euclid Avenue.
Cherry Hill
Crews will be working on Kresson Road from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a be a partial road closure westbound between St. Mary’s Drive & Springdale Road.
Collingswood
- Crews will be working on Park Avenue from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure and sidewalk closures between Dill Avenue & Ogden Avenue.
- PSE&G will be working on Haddon Avenue from Tuesday, March 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Collings Avenue & Irwin Avenue.
Haddon Heights
PSE&G will be working on North Park Drive from Monday, March 9 to Wednesday, March 11, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Glover Avenue & Green Street.
Pine Hill
Crews will be working on West Branch Avenue from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between Blackwood-Clementon Road & Erial Road.
Voorhees Township
- Crews will be working on White Horse Road & Burnt Mill Road from Tuesday, March 10 to Wednesday, March 11, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a be a partial road closure southbound on White Horse Road between Lucas Lane & Burnt Milll Road and a full road closure of Burnt Mill Road between White Horse Road & Linden Avenue.
- Crews will be working on White Horse Road from Thursday, March 12 to Friday, March 13, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Burnt Mill Road & Haddonfield-Berlin Road.
Waterford Township

- Crews will be working on Mays Landing Road from Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Old Albertson Road & the Atlantic County Line.
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, over 200 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
