Society Stages Exhibit Honoring Borough’s 100th Anniversary

This year, the historical society will mount a year-long exhibit at the Camden County Historical Society, 1900 Park Blvd., Camden. The free opening reception will be on Sunday, April 26 from 3 – 5 p.m.

Curated by Shamele Jordon, the exhibit will present historical documents, photos, videos, and families histories focused on the themes of government, faith, education and culture.

Special events will be held on the first Sunday of each month: A panel of historians set for May 3, 3 – 4:30 p.m. will discuss Green Book locations in Lawnside and Berlin, and a Gallery Talk and tour is scheduled from 3 – 4 p.m. on June 7.

The Peter Mott House will be part of the state-run History Pinned program on civic engagement from Juneteenth through July 4th. And our middle school Underground Railroad summer camp will run from July 6 to 10.
