Commissioner Honored Five Camden County Veterans

Commissioner Colleen Bianco Bezich and the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs held a medal ceremony aboard the Battleship New Jersey to recognize the service and sacrifices of five Camden County veterans.

“Our veterans answered the call to serve when their country needed them, and they deserve to know their commitment has not been forgotten,” said Commissioner Bianco Bezich, liaison to Veterans Affairs. “It is an honor to recognize them and express our gratitude on behalf of the entire county.”

The following veterans were honored and presented with one or more Camden County service medals, including the Camden County Military Service Medal, Camden County Korean War Service, Medal Camden County Vietnam Service, Medal, and the Camden County War on Terrorism Medal.

  • Karl N. Keppen, Gloucester Township, Army
  • Joel Pagan, Camden, Army
  • Kenneth C. Smith, Pennsauken, Air Force
  • Michael R. Troiano, Berlin, Navy
