The Philadelphia Police Department’s Crash Investigation Division is releasing photographs of the suspect vehicle believed to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of 20-year-old Bryce Wolfe.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the intersection of Kelly Drive and Reservoir Drive.
The preliminary investigation determined that a white SUV was traveling eastbound on Kelly Drive and attempted to make an illegal turn onto Reservoir Drive. As the SUV attempted to return to the eastbound travel lane after realizing the turn could not be completed, it entered the path of a westbound red 2004 Triumph motorcycle.
The motorcycle struck the SUV, trapping the rider beneath the vehicle. The SUV then fled the scene eastbound on Kelly Drive, dragging the motorcyclist for more than one mile—from Reservoir Drive to the area of Fountain Green Drive—before the victim became dislodged. The driver continued eastbound without stopping to render aid.
Bryce Wolfe was transported by Philadelphia Fire Department medics to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with critical injuries. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 4:41 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Investigators are asking the public to carefully review the newly released photographs of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle is believed to be a white 2001-2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer. It may have damage on the driver-side with possible red paint transfer, a broken rear windshield, and a discolored passenger-side front wheel.
Anyone who recognizes the vehicle, has information about its whereabouts, or observed a white SUV matching this description with recent damage is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Crash Investigation Division at 215-685-3181.
