Two juveniles were arrested and charged for their involvement in a Winslow Township shooting that happened in June, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Winslow Township Police Chief Donald Lemons.
A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both from Sicklerville, were charged with 1st-degree Attempted Murder, 1st-degree Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, 2nd-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, 2nd-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and 4th-degree Tampering with Evidence.
On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at approximately 9:59 p.m., officers from the Winslow Township Police Department responded to Locust Court in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a gunshot victim – a 19-year-old male – inside a car that crashed into an unoccupied vehicle parked on Locust Court. The victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital and reported to be in critical but stable condition.
During the investigation, it was determined that the juveniles were responsible for shooting the victim. Detectives discovered that the juveniles also robbed the victim of a watch and several other items.
The 15-year-old was taken into custody on Monday, July 20, in Pine Hill by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force – Camden Division. The 16-year-old was previously taken into custody on Friday, July 17, in Winslow Township by the U.S. Marshals Service.
