A woman was arrested and charged after fatally shooting her boyfriend in Winslow Township on Wednesday afternoon, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Winslow Township Police Chief Donald Lemons.
Amelia G. Wilmore-Nozil, 38, of Glassboro was charged with 2nd-degree Manslaughter and 2nd-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at approximately 2:03 p.m., officers from the Winslow Township Police Department responded to the unit block of Bromley Court in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a gunshot victim in the area of a parked vehicle, identified as 33- year-old Domincio Fuhrtz of Winslow Township.
Wilmore-Nozil reported that she and Fuhrtz were seated inside the parked vehicle when a struggle for the firearm that Wilmore-Nozil was carrying ensued. The firearm was discharged during the struggle, striking Fuhrtz. Fuhrtz was then transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 3:01 p.m. The investigation is active and ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
